What the F***'s Up?: Directed by Jamie Lee Kearns. With Jamie Lee Kearns. During the Covid-19 lockdown of 2020, Jamie Lee Kearns was inspired to write a parody song, because she kept asking the world "What's Going On?" in a desperate plea to understand the tragedy of this global pandemic. As she watched the confusion spread, she wanted to teach and remind people how to keep themselves safe in the midst of the spread - and have a little creative fun so she didn't completely lose her mind. Jamie and her husband were in the middle of a long holiday and found a safe haven in Vietnam. They hunkered down in an Airbnb, where this video was inspired, recorded, and birthed. From start to finish, this was completed in 3 separate apartments, 2 cities, vocals recorded in an IKEA wardrobe, and Jamie was only able to use items she could find in the rental units and in their suitcases. She recorded this while battling a chest infection which may have actually been Covid-19 - so - that's fun.
