It aims to highlight the fact that the simple violence of punitive measures like capital punishment often belies systemic inability or refusal to deal with deeper societal problems like poverty and inequality. The film shows a death row prisoner named Ramdeen, celebrating on finally receiving a verdict on his case, after waiting for twenty years. It is a fully handmade animated film and the materials used are terracotta clay and paper.
