Dayuhan: Directed by Miko Buan Acuña. With Franko Pavino, Clifford Laurito. A Labnuk immigrant boy grew tired of the difficulties he faced every day because of his horns. A sloppy way of dodging discrimination was him wearing a beanie, but surgery with the risk of post-operative amnesia is the only permanent solution he sees. In case he suffers loss of memory after the surgery, the mitigation is to have trinkets that can remind him of deep-seated memories. Just before the boy's flight back to his planet for the surgery, he asks his friend to help him find trinkets in the surplus stores around Manila. Together, they roam the streets near Recto Avenue to look for such trinkets. Prior to him boarding the flight back to his planet, he leaves a parting trinket to his Human friend. As the Labnuk boy went on his way, his Human friend made a banter for his own assurance that his friend will be back.
