Ballad of a Fish: With Ame. A fish seeks change in her mundane and repetitive life but ultimately arrives at the conclusion that nothing she can do will change her predetermined fate. Upon figuring out that even her death would bear no significant weight to anybody else, she feels a great sense of relief and vows to live on happily without a care in the world. Suddenly, her memory fails her, and the fish begins to worry about her meaningless life again. Deep in the ocean, she vocalizes her mood again and again, as she continues to lose her train of thought and return to her pondering in a repetitive cycle. This ballad symbolizes the plateau that many of us who live under constant/great pressure to find self-value and meaning may empathize with. Eventually, we will realize that the only way out is to feign ignorance to the topic completely. The world will keep spinning and life will keep moving on- until one day, the panic and anxiety will take over once again.
