The festival is incomplete without the talented artisans of Kumartuli, the hub of idol makers. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the festival has taken a different form. The film brings out the struggles of these artisans, the difficulties of the Puja committees, what this festival means to the people of Bengal and the overwhelming anticipations and uncertainty in the minds of the people through a poetic narrative.
